Copie conforme, Cerfified Copy. (2010, imdb)
Directed by Abbas Kiarostami
Beautiful, lingering, lovely, human and mysterious are adjectives which come to mind as I luxuriate in remembrance of this little movie. It’s sort of a movie of intrusion, the viewer is intruding upon the private moments of it’s characters and are required to piece a story together by themself. Frenchwoman Juliette Binoche is spectacular (par for the course) and British operatic baritone Willam Shimell is aptly cast and performs very well in this sweet movie which will likely stay with you long after the last scene is played out.
I mainly recommend this movie to people who can stand movies wherein people mostly just walk around and talk all the time.
